Question
HI I INSPECTED THE WHOLE IN MY WALL TODAY AND FOUND THAT IT STRETCH ABOUT A METRE TO EACH SIDE, PROBLEM IS THAT IT HAVE HOLES ON THE TOP SIDE WHICH LEADS TO THE INSIDE OF THE ROOF, WOULD THE BALL PYTHON GO UP IN THE ROOF WHERE IT IS EXTREMELY HOT IN THE DAY AND QUITE COLD IN THE EVENING, OR WOULD IT STAY SOMEWHERE INSIDE THE WALL AREA AND WHAT IS THE CHANCES THAT THE SNAKE WILL COME FOR FOOD/HEAT INSIDE THE HOLE ENTRANCE IF IT IS SOMEWHERE IN THE ROOF?

Answer
Hi Ernst, I wish it were possible to predict where he might go  but snakes can and will go anywhere their head will fit. The one thing you can rely on is that he will get hungry and his instinct to hunt is hard-wired into his brain. They also have an excellent sense of smell. If he was a reliable feeder before this happened then you can feel  confident that if there is a rodent nearby he will smell it and will try to find his way to it.
