Question
I have a 3 yr old female uromastyx mali who recently began a shed that has lasted for over a month.  She hasn't showed any interest in vegies and even turn around from an offered meal worm (usually her favorite snack)  She also has not deficated in a month and I'm getting very worried.

Answer
Hello Linda,

What are the temps in the tank?  Are you using any UVB currently, & what type & brand are you using?  Is it a flourescent tube bulb or a compact or coil light?  What type of basking light are you using?
She is not eating anything at all?  I wouldn't feed any mealies, not on a regular basis as they are pretty strict vegetarians.  How often do you offer those?
Normally, constipation is caused by several things.  Dehydration, low calcium, lack of vegetation or hydration, inadequate UVB exposure.
I mention UVB exposure because if she is not getting enough UVB then any calcium that is being given wont be absorbed very well which will not allow D3 synthesis to occur.  They can get constipated from low calcium because the smooth muscles function off of calcium.

Let me know how she is doing.
