Injured Left Front leg

I have a juvenile Chinese Water Dragon, he has a swollen leg with no visible injury. The nearest vet is 65 miles away. Does this type of injury require vet assistance? My other question is can we take care of it here?

Depends on how severe the injury is.  If you believe it's broken you may want to take it to a vet if it's just sprained try to immobilize the leg as much as possible I answered a question a couple weeks ago that's fairly similar and went into a bit more detail on how to immobilize the leg of an injured water dragon.  If the dragon seems to be getting along fine then most likely no vet assistance will be needed.  Just keep a close eye on him for awhile.
