thanks+for+all+the+info.+I+plan+on+doing+everything+u+said+asap.+I+still+have+a+question.+How+would+i+put+the+lights+higher%3F+I+will+be+getting+a+new+tank+next+month.+U+said+to+get+a+70+gallon+tank%3F+I+was+thinkin+bout+a+56+gallon.+But+if+thats+better+for+him+i+will+do+that.+He+is+eating+alot+and+all+his+food.+I+will+c+wut+i+can+do+about+the+lights+and+hopefully+he+changes.+I+will+let+u+kno+wut+happens.+Thanks+again+for+yuor+time.

Hello Mikey,

The lights, how are you mounting them right now, overhead right, on top of the tank?  You could use a lightstand, or for a temporary fix, get some PVC piping, & make a light stand to hang the light a little higher up to get the temps down a little bit.
The 55 or 75 gallon tank will be fine.  However, once he is an adult, he will need at least a 75 to 90 gallon for comfort.  So, really you are better off saving up & going ahead & purchasing the larger one now so you don't end up buying 2 instead of 1.  It will save you money in the long run.
How is he doing today, is he eating tons now?  Great to hear that!  
Keep him hydrated with a plastic dropper, with oral fluids, daily.  
So his behavior is improving then?
