Question
QUESTION: the female is a bit bigger then the male. what should i look out for to see if the female is becoming dominant over him? then if that is the case what do i do , how should i deal with that.

ANSWER: Hello Doug,

Well, that is a pretty easy fix actually.  If you don't want to get another tank, simply get another undertank heater, & a basking bulb then divide the tank with a piece of plexiglass.
Otherwise, it could become a problem with him not getting enough to eat.  Then, once they are the same size you can reintroduce them & things should be alot better.

QUESTION: i will watch them tonight to see if he is eating. i did take the bigger female out for a little bit put the crickets in to see if he could eat a little before i put her back in but he did not seam to want to eat cause he let the crickets run all over him. but if i don't see him eat i can get a free other tank and then ill keep them in there own tanks if it is needed.

Answer
Hello Doug,

That sounds perfect.  Just continue to watch him.  If he does not eat then you will have to separate them so he can eat & grow properly.  Then you will just have to wait until they are the same size & then they should be able to be housed together with no problem, but maybe in a 20 gallon.
Keep me posted on them.
