snow max leopard gecko not digesting food

Question
Hi there, I have a young snow max leopard gecko.  She was rescued.  She was not eating at all when she first came to us.  We feed her baby food and caloric supplement and she has started to regain some strength and put on some weight.  A few days ago she began eating wax worms on her own.  There had been no problem until this evening.  We noticed a poo in her tank, which was nothing more than 3 or 4 waxed worms smooched together.  She had not digested them at all.  Is there something wrong?  Or should we not let her eat so much solid foods because she is just starting up eating again?  We give her daily warm soaks.  Is there something more we should be doing or maybe not doing for her?  Thanks so muck:)

Answer
Nicole, her intestinal flora may not be up to par yet.  There was a product called "nutribac" that claimed to help replace said flora.  See if you can find some of that or consult a local vet.  Go slow with the worms; meal worms are a better food than wax.  Wax worms are the "double cheeseburgers" of the retile world.
