hi  I just buy it last night .the pet store told me to give it cicket but i look at the intenet and it told me diet mealwormes.and it said that they can swimm too .he like to bower down in repti bark.should i wet him down when it get to hot in summer,when is it good time to feed him day or night.can he be train to do ticket.and how big doise it .my husband wont let me leave the light on now my house is 20 temper is on the tank at 60 lillet over the line psmy spell is weak ,

They can eat crickets, roaches, all kinds of clean farm raised insects.  They also enjoy greens and fruits lke collards, mustard greens, dandelions, turnip tops, and melon, papaya, berries, mango, although I;d stay away from apple.  They need a pan of fresh water to drink and sit in.  They need a bright light that will keep the tank at 85 F and a ceramic heat emitter at night on a rheostat to keep at 75 F.  Branches and a cave or a substrate they can burrow in, lke a moist mix of sphagnum moss and children's playsand.  They also need a good UVB source like the Reptisun 10.0 linear fluorescent tube.  Do not use the compact or coil type.
