Bearded Dragon Travel Cage

Question
I am currently using a large somewhat clear tupperware container for Norbert's travel cage (travel meaning her temporary cage away from home when we visit my mom's or the cabin).  I recently started cracking on the bottom and I refuse to use it any further in fear that she'll ingest some of the plastic particles when tasting and will make her sick.  My husband cut a large rectangle out of the lid and used the plastic brace things to attach chicken mesh so her lights could sit on top.

Now to the question...  is there a better alternative as far as 'travel' cages go other than what I am using that would be inexpensive and easy to maintain?   I don't want to take her terrarium anywhere b/c I'm afaid that the glass will break during transport.

Any ideas?  Thanks and Happy Easter!!

Answer
Hi Jessica,
Happy Easter to you also!.
Many of the small dog crates work fine as the spacing on the bars is tight enough that a beardie cannot fit through and of course would handle the heat well as the crate is made of wire. Also the vari kennel type pet carriers work well and the heat/light can be placed on the front. (door is metal)
Also, the mesh cages are suppose to handle the heat and come in a variety of sizes and are really a decent price.  You could even add the wire to the top if you would feel safer than the mesh for the heat/lights. Here is a link where you can see tons of different kinds of cages available.
Another option that would work very well is making your own with PVC pipe and the plastic mesh and add wire mesh for the "ceiling". The mesh is attached to the pvc frame with the plastic "zip" wire ties.
