Bathroom problem

Question
I just got a rabbit about 3 weeks ago. Everything was fine until we switched its diet. The person at the pet store said to give it pellets so we did, but then i read at several places, they should only be giving to as treats, so I started giving it fresh vegetables instead of pellets. Ever since I did that (3 days ago) My rabbit has not, well, I guess pooped. She acts normal, except for that. I couldnt find anything on the internet that suggests what to do. Please help asap.

Sincerely,
Brooke, and Bunnie

Answer
Dear Brooke,

I think it's very important that you read the following two articles as soon as possible:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/poop.html

and

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/ileus.html

A rabbit's general health is strongly expressed by its fecal output, and if she's honestly not pooping at all, it could be very serious.

If you don't yet have a good bunny vet, you can find one here:

www.rabbit.org/vets

For an article on proper rabbit diet, please go here:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/feeding.html

Hope this helps.  Please write back if you have any other questions.
