Not eating the rabbit diet

Question
I've had a baby male (the gender is still questionable) dwarf rabbit for about 5 days now.  My concern is he is not eating his pellets that the pet store provided for him, but only eats they hay I bought for him (Kaytee brand Orchard Grass).  I also noticed he eats the cage lining, litter tray pearls, and his own feces.  He also chews on pieces of wood I bought and a mineral block.  He drinks plenty of water too.  I'm wondering if I should be concerned he's not eating the pellets.  I was hoping that he'd eventually start eating after a few days of being settled in but not yet.  Should I still wait, should I be concerned?  Thanks somuch.

Answer
Dear Celine,

I would worry more if he were not eating his hay.  Please go here to check on what's most important for a healthy rabbit diet:

to be sure the pellets you have are the right type. The baby may be wise to reject them if they're loaded with seeds, colored bits, nuts, fruit, etc. as such products are very unhealthy for rabbits.
