Flystrike or abcess?

Question
How do u know the difference between a bunny that has an abcess on her neck and has fly strike? I take my bunny outside a lot. But she has had an abcess problem for a couple months now. She had one on her face that was not from dental problms, and it went completly away, then there were two more that drained itself and went away, and she has one more which is moveable but i noticed one near her throat. Shes acting completly normal and her droppings are normal. The bump is right about the dew lap. I m so confused, I m taking her to the vets right away but would like to know if u have any other input. Thank you.

Answer
An abscess is generally a closed wound, fly strike will have an open hole for the larvae to get air through.  Certainly she could get one, and you would not want to remove it yourself.  If you crush the larvae it can release toxins that are deadly to your rabbit.
