not drinking water

Question
my rabbit is eating sticky nettles and strawberry plants but will not
touch his pellet food.  He is drinking no water and i am very
concerned.  I have massaged his tummy to break down gas but i
am not sure what he is suffering from.  He is producing round, dark
droppings and they do not appear abnormal.  Is there a problem?

Answer
Well, why should he touch boring pellets if he has yummy plants to eat?  There's no incentive for him to eat the pellets if the other items are readily available.

I believe he can get water from these, so he may not need any more.

It sounds as if his digestive system is operating normally.  I would restrict his access to the plants if you can to make sure he just eats the pellets.
