3 year old dwarf

Hi there we recently aquired a 3 year old dwarf rabbit from a friend , i have a question about him .  He falls over in his cage , is this normal? she said he hasdone it for a long time. He never lays down to sleep like our other rabbits, he closes his eyes his head starts to drop to the bottom of the cage, then he just tips over. any answer?

Dear Tammy,

It sounds as if he's slowly falling asleep and then just toppling over, which some very relaxed rabbits will do.  :)  If he's not showing any balance problems, appetite problems, or other signs of ill health, then I'd just enjoy the adorable show and not worry.
