Hi I want to get two rabbits as house pets or maybe just one but I'm away alot so maybe two is better? I want two males would that be ok?

They will be minirex or holland lop or lionhead lop I've found a breeder of those breeds near by, They are all very small right?

I have dogs will mthe rabbits mind? How big should tehre cage be to keep them happy I have only a small cage now, I can only let them out a bit every evening so cage should be much larger?

Are two rabbits expensive to maintain? will they cost a whole lot to feed and bed every month?

Will two be less tame them just one?

Will they stink up my room? I can't have a big smell with them because there in my bedroom, Is this a bad place for them? if so i can not have them I have nowhere else to put them. I was wondering what pet rabbits are like? are they at all like dogs?   The reason I want rabbits is because I can't have more dogs because of being so expoensive with vaccines and because we rent not own so I want something that doesnt need expensive vaccines or really expensive foods that will be nice like dogs.

Do bunnies cuddle? Can I have them out of cage without peeing all over the floor? I'd love nothing more then to have them out and around my dogs when I'm home after work and on weekedns to run around and jump on bed.. watch tv ect... would bunny get on bed to see me?

I never had one before so was very wondering about this.

I work 4 days a week 5/6 hours each day and plan to have a 4/5 day work week with longer hours over the fall would bunny(bunnies) be ok with this?

I want to buy good quaility foods/bedding/cage/ accessories please let me know what is the best in these things but most inportantly i want to know if I should have one or two... First you may want to read http://www.rabbit.org/care/new-bunny-index.html which is information for new rabbit owners.

Two males would be ok if they are siblings.  If they are not, it's possible they will fight.  The rabbits you name are all small breeds, generally topping out at 4 pounds.

Read the information on housing in the above link for a good cage size.  Rabbits generally learn to ignore dogs as long as the dogs don't try to get at them constantly.

The cost per month is going to depend on what you feed them and use for bedding.  So it could be $25 a month, or it could be a lot more or less.

If you clean their cage regularly, it will not smell.  If it does, then you need to clean it more frequently.

Most bunnies do not like to be held.  They don't mind if they sit on the floor and you pet them.  Check out more on teaching dogs to be around rabbits at http://www.rabbit.org/journal/1/dogs.html.

Whether the bunny jumps on the bed depends on the bunny.  Some will, some won't.  Some will litterbox train easily, some won't.

Bunnies adjust to practically any schedule, so as long as they are fed consistently they aren't going to mind.

If you get the bunnies as siblings, they will generally do ok.  Bunnies from different litters will sometimes fight.  Bonding rabbits can be challenging for this reason.

Good food is plain pellets without anything added.  Good hay for a baby is alfalfa, when they get older timothy or whatever the local hay may be is good.  There is a list of good litters at http://www.rabbit.org/chapters/san-diego/behavior/litter_compare.html.

Just remember if you have two bunnies and it turns out they are not the same gender you will need to get them spayed and neutered or you will shortly have way more bunnies than you know what to do with.

Answer
If you get two boys they will be ok until they hit their sexual maturity, then they may fight and will constantly mount each other.  Neutering takes care of that behavior.

This will happen regardless of whether or not they have been together their entire lives.
