new zealands ears

Hi, I have a new zealand rabbit. Its a few months old and I brought him from a local pet store. A few day after bringing him home I notice that one ear is always down. Is that ok or should I take him to the vet?

Check in the ear, if you see anything that looks like the pictures of ear mites at the link http://homepage.mac.com/mattocks/morfz/rabrefs.html#mites then take him to the vet.  

If you don't see anything, it could be he's not purebred but rather part lop.
