-----Question-----
I recently had an injured rabbit, which I gave anti-biotic to and was wondering if the medication or the wound could have caused her to have a stillborn?
-----Answer-----
Hi Kara,
this is hard to say,as an injury can cause a stillborn, especially a fall or a hit.  Medication would also have affects on the fetus as well, seeing as this rabbit was injured and had medication the young didn't have a chance. How many young were there?

Answer
Yes,sometimes one baby can happen, but is extremely rare...this could be another cause from the medication..rabbits most commonly have 4-5 babies in a litter.
Make sure you have the rabbit examined to make sure there are no more dead babies inside her..this could be deadly to the mother.
  take care Kara.....Elizabeth
