Possible Pregnant Rabbit

Question
I just found out that one of my girls is a boy.  Since I discovered it, she/he has been neutered.  However, I have a female bunny that is about 10 months old.  She is not yet spayed.  I'm afraid she may be pregnant.  I was cleaning out my closet and found a bunch of her fur.  I didn't even entertain the thought that she might be pregnant, and cleaned up the "mess".  Since then, she hasn't been as cuddly with me.  She is always in the closet looking around.  I know I messed up big time, but what can I do?  I threw the fur away.  Will she make another nest?  What are the signs and symptoms of a pregnant rabbit?  I don't even know if she is or not.  She and the boy were never really together.  It's been a few weeks since they were actually out together.  But, Sunday night when I discovered his family jewels, they had been running around "playing" together.  I've been looking for indications that she might be pregnant, but I dont' know what to look for.  Please HELP!!!

Answer
Dear Stephanie,

Unfortunately there are no clear indications of rabbit pregnancy until the bunny is very far along.  But if they were "playing" together, and they're that old, then it's very likely she's pregnant and must be spayed immediately, before the pregnancy advances so far that it would be too risky to spay her.

It would be wise to have the boy neutered at the same time, since the shared stress will strengthen their bond.  Please read:

and find a good rabbit vet here:

Hope this helps!
