Question
i have a mini rex as a pet. he gets plenty of exercise and "out of cage" time. every time he is put in his cage, however, he bites and reefs very hard on the section of the cage that opens. it is not uncommon for him to spend thirty minutes or more trying to open the door. is this normal behavior? how can i correct it?

Answer
Some rabbits just don't want to go back into their cage, he could be one.  I have one that does this too.  Even when the door is open.

There's some information on training at http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/training.html  Remember that rabbits only respond to positive training, negative training will only confuse them.
