loss of hair and whiskers

our rabbit lost her hair on both sides of her face and her whiskers, the hair is now growing back. Her hair color turned totally symetrical if it turned black on one side of her face it turned the same way on the other. The vet thought that it could be an allergic reaction and stress to her body from a food that she was eating. did you ever hear of this?

No,I can't say I have heard this before..but if your rabbit lives outside,it could be her changing coat for the winter..mine change color too. Or it could be a hormone thing..This is the only thing I could think of,otherwise I've never heard of this...but at least she's ok  :)
