Question
My 6 year old twins just recieved 2 bunnies from the "easter bunnie". I was told they are snow bunnies but cant find any info about that breed on the net. They are already larger than bunnies you would find in a pet store. They are pure white with big pink ears and pink and red eyes. and i was told they are still very young. In order for me to properly care for these little cuties, i will need to know what kind they are. Ant info would be appriciated. thank you.

Answer
You can find a list of breed photos (all adult pics) at http://www.arba.net/photo.htm  Based on your description, however, I would say they are most likely either Florida Whites or New Zealand Whites.  A lot of people try to pass off New Zealands when they are little as dwarf bunnies, when it becomes evident very soon that they aren't.

Florida Whites end up at an adult weight of 5-7 lb., and New Zealands at about 10 lb.

In order to properly feed them I would check the diet info at http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/diet.html

I've had a number of New Zealands, and they are usually very friendly and outgoing rabbits.
