Question
HI,
I have a 12 week old dutch rabbit who is constantly sneezing and occasionally wheezing during the day.
She is also constantly grooming herself and she also has soft motions.
I haven't taken her to the vet's yet but would it be recommended to do so.

thanks for your help

Answer
Dear Kristy,

Yes, I would strongly recommend that you get bunny to a good rabbit vet for a full check up.  You can find one here:

www.rabbit.org/vets

Sneezing isn't normal, and is a sign of upper respiratory infection.  In young rabbits, this can become very serious if not treated appropriately, as described here:

Also, the runny stools are a sign of illness/stress,  and should be addressed.  You can read more about the causes, diagnosis and treatment of this problem here:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/poop.html

I hope this helps get you started on the road to her recovery.  Please write back if you have any other questions.
