I have a 7 year old dwarf lop, with some fur patches missing.  We went to the vet and a biopsy of the affected area did not reveal any problems.  The things is, its happening again and this time there are white flakes like dandruff and the skin is red in the patches missing the fur.  Any idea what it might be?

hi carla i would think it was skin mites but the vet would have picked this up.
i think is happening because you have a very old rabbit and he is getting hair loss.
if you are worried take it back to the vet and let him examine the rabbit again.
