Dutch Rabbit Behaviour

Question
I have 2, 5 month old male dutch rabbits from the same litter. They have always got on very well but have begun to fight over the past couple of days, with one being more aggressive than the other.I have therefore had to separate them. They have not yet been neutered. Will this aggression stop when they have been altered and will I be able to put them back together as although they fight they pine when apart.

Answer
Rabbits are solitary animals, they do not like to share the same living space with another rabbit.  I do not agree with the neurtering or spaying of rabbits as the surgery is very hard on them and could kill them.  Any combination male/male, female/female and male/female will fight when they reach adult age and altering them will not change this.  It is best to keep them in separate cages, but near one another and let them "play" together once in a while.
