Miniature Lop companion

Question
Hello,
I have a miniature lop that I created a large compound for her to live in. There are several very large boxes that are tied together that she can move between. One has hay, one has paper for a bathroom, another is next to the window where she can watch things outside, another is where her fresh food is put, etc. She is an adorable, lovable little bunny and I'm afraid she may be lonely by herself so much. I take her out every evening and take her for walks on a leash in good weather, but I'm wondering if she would be happier having a companion living with her? Do you think she would adapt to another rabbit very easily, or does a solitary rabbit tend to not get along when by itself for awhile??
thanks Dan

Answer
Hi Dan,
it sounds to me like your rabbit has an awsome life as it is. I wouldn't introduce anyone now that she has been alone in her home.  She will become territorial and most likely will fight any newcomer. Go by that old saying.."if it aint broke, don't fix it"...I'm sure your rabbit is fine and extremely happy with her life.   All the best,Elizabeth
