Question
hi my question is. my netherland dwarf rabbit just gave birth to 5 babies on 6-02-08, i have been feeding her ox-bow rabbit food but i want to switch her to a different brand and arba told me that NUTRENA was an excellent feed for rabbits. is it alright to start switching her over from ox-bow to the nutrena now where she just gave birth or should i wait until she has weaned the babies? i dont want to hurt her or the babies thats why i need your advice. please help me. i know i have to switch her over slowly for about 10 days decreasing the ox-bow and adding more nutrena as i go. i just need to know if i can switch her over now where she just had the babies yesterday. thank you so much for your help. i will wait for your answer before i do anything. thanks again. millie

Answer
Hello Millie.

Its good that you have understood that you should change over the foods gradually. I think it would be better to do it while they don't get to attached to ox-bow but as they are so small and delicate change it over very slowly.

I hoped this helped.
