do rabbits get distemper with the same symptoms as cats and dogs?

No they don't. Canine distemper and feline distemper are actually two different diseases. The feline panleukopenia virus causes cat distemper and is only caused in cats and can be prevented by a vaccine.  Canine distemper comes from a virus of the Candidae family and again dogs must be vaccinated against it to prevent it.

As far as I know there is no distemper that affects rabbits.  I do know that rabbits generally do not get rabies since the animals that usually carry rabies will actually kill the rabbit in the process of infecting them.
