Answer
Dear Terry,

Fur mites (Cheyletiella sp.) can cause fur loss without much irritation to the skin, though there usually is a bit of flakiness.  Please read:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/furloss.html

to read about the various causes and safe treatments of abnormal fur loss in rabbits.  You'll need a good rabbit vet to help you, and you can find one here:

www.rabbit.org/vets

Sneezing can be a sign of upper respiratory infection, but it is not the only thing that can cause sneezing.  Please read:

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/sneezing.html

and

www.bio.miami.edu/hare/culture.html

so you'll know what to ask the vet when you take your pal in for his checkup.

Hope this helps!
