Question
My rabbit is 8 months old and eats fruitloops.sheacts like she feels good.would this be more likely stained urine?

Answer
Hi Sally,

if she is acting like her normal, healthy, happy self, eating and drinking normal, her outputs are normal, exercising normal, then she is probably okay.  Everything that a rabbit eats can change the urine color.  Greens, veggies, dyed wood chew toys, can all turn the color darker.  And two rabbits can have the same diets but different urine color.  Healthy urine color can range from clear to yellow to orange-red.  I almost never see clear color, because the veggies we give them have natural coloring in them.

But the three big things to watch for (for problems) is: if she's not interested/excited about her food; if her output is down; or if she's not moving much.
