Question
I have some 18 day old kits.  Is it a good idea to take out the fur and give them alfalfa hay?  They're starting to chew everything and I'm afraid they may eat the fur.

Answer
Hello Tom
There is no need to remove the fur it is Natural insulation. they may be chewing on everything but it is good so their teeth stay short. put a small piece of hardwood in there with tehm they will find it and chew on it. stay away from alfalfa  for now they need mamas milk and when they start eating they need pellets, and maybe timothy grass if you insist on feeding greens.
Good luck!
