Bald spot

Hello, My lionhead bunny is about 5 months old now.  Over the past 2 days I have noticed he is developing a bald spot on the top of his head.  It is along his mane right between his ears.  It is smooth skin underneath, not flaky or irritated.  Is this him molting or something more serious?

Some abnormal fur loss in rabbits isn't accompanied by flakiness or irritation.  You can read about the various causes and their treatments here:
