bedding?

Answer
Yes you can feed the horse quality hay, and use horse quality straw for bedding.  When choosing something like hay or bedding for rabbits what you want to look for is animal quality, make sure there are no pesticides, etc used on it, if you are buying it tell the person you are purchasing it for rabbits, and ask them if they use pesticides etc and make sure that you are using either a prairie or grass hay (such as brome or timothy works or just plain ol prairie hay)and that the hay looks green, smells good, and has no mold on it.

The biggest difference in buying a bale of hay (small square) compared to the hay from the store is the cut is going to be longer and it is going be a bit lighter green in color do to being sun dried in the field, this won't hurt your rabbit and  is much more inexpensive than purchasing from the store.

It is also a bit more messy, but I use baled hay and the 5 minutes of extra cleaning time compared to what I save money wise is worth it.
