Question
Hi I have to baby bunnys they are about 6 weeks old one of them is not eating its cecal pills. Do they have to eat them all or only some of them for there digestive system. What should I do.

Answer
Dear Kelley,

Sometimes a bunny getting a lot of protein and carbs in the diet will leave a few cecals.  It's not a big deal.  And babies can sometimes be a little sloppy with their cecotropes, I've found.

As long as the cecotropes look normal, and all buns are eating and drinking and pooping well, this isn't a reason for concern.

Hope this helps.
