Dry skin

Dear Dana, I have a 6 month old lionhead dwarf rabbit. recently i noticed a patch of bald fur at the back of his head. I took him to the vet to check him up and she told me that it's dry skin and not to worry, the fur will grow back without giving me any cream prescription. after 3 weeks since this visit there hasn't been any change. could you please suggest something? thanks

Rabbits sometimes have thinner hair just behind the head, but it's not normal for it to be completely bald.  Please see:

who may be better equipped to determine whether this is something that needs treatment.
