rabbit s eyes

Hopefully you might be able to answer my question. My rabbit's eyes having been running (not goopy just runny) for about 3 weeks now. I took him to the vet who prescribed an ointment which didn't work. I am having a very difficult time finding a vet who isn't a rip off and can figure out his problem.( He is otherwise fine) Is this common for rabbit's and do you know if its treatable or should be left alone. Any info is helpful ! Thanks

Runny eyes are not uncommon, but because most dog/cat vets are not familiar with the link between runny eyes and dental problems in rabbits, they treat the problem as they would in a dog or cat.  That usually doesn't work.  Please read:
