rabbits ears

i bought a rabbit and it has globs of dried up black stuff in her ears.now their bleeding fron inside her ears.what should i do?

Hi Rhonda,

she has probably scratched up her ears because something is in her ears that has made them itchy.  Most likely mites or fleas.  I strongly recommend taking her in to a good rabbit vet tomorrow.  As soon as physically possible.  you do not want her ears getting infected, and they will if you don't get her in right away.

and find a House Rabbit Society-recommended vet near you.  Not all vets specialize in rabbits, and to get the best care, fastest, for the least amount of money (not wasting it on wrong diagnoses), you need to go to vets that have the greatest regular experience with them.
