Taming rabbits

Question
Hiya Dana!
I have had my 2 pretty big lop brother for almost a week now. They're both about 18 months old. As I've always had rabbits from a younger age I'm wondering how long these will take before they become alot more comforatble with me. Do a little older rabbits take longer to tame than younger? And does it affect their taming to humans when there are two rabbits?

They are not too hard to catch when they are out in the garden, rest assured I have made our garden bunny proof!! They love it :)

I'd just love to see them come to me when in the garden and let me pet them more, be sure i know this takes time and patience. But does it take even longer becuase they are THAT much older?

Thank you for your time!!

Answer
Dear Tracey,

Winning a bunny's trust seems to depend more on the basic personality of the bunny than it does on the bunny's age.  Some are born friendly, and some are born more cautious.

To win their trust, try these tips:

But don't expect instant miracles. Some bunnies are just more shy by nature, and some never become friendly and cuddly.  It's just the way they are.

Hope this helps.
