Will rabbits chew/ruin hard wood floors?

Question
I have two adopted rabbits that LOVE to pull up my carpet right down to the padding underneath. It's their idea of a really great time. They are free ranging house bunnies who just go into their cage for food and a bathroom break and I DO NOT want to cage them 24/7 but I dont want them to ruin my floor anymore so I was thinking about a hard wood or a synthetic hard wood floor in their room but will the also destroy that floor?  I dont want to spend the $ only to have them ruin it.

Any advice would be welcome.  Thanks!

Answer
Rabbits are just gonna chew, their teeth grown continuously throughout their lives, and then have to chew something.  You might check out this FAQ - http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/chewing.html

As for the hardwood flooring, I've never heard of a rabbit trying to chew through that, they then generally switch to the baseboards, which you can block off.  I have laminate flooring and none of the bunnies have ever tried to chew that.
