rabbit injured

Question
I have a 6 month old mini lop who just recently got injured. Her lip has been cut all the way through, and she has cuts on her ears. We don't know what happened to her, but we did clean out the cut and put anti biotics on them. Is there any thing else that we could do or should do for her?

Dear Anna,

Leave nothing to chance.  If she was attacked by a cat, then she has been innoculated with potentially deadly bacteria that could kill as quickly as 12 hours from now and with very little warning.

Please get her to a good rabbit vet immediately:

Her lip and ears probably need to be sutured and properly disinfected, and she may need systemic antibiotics if you don't know what injured her.  It's better to be safe than sorry.
