Questionhello Dana! I run the arkansas pet rabbit network and have a previous adopter with an e.c. rabbit (7 years old minilop, about 5 pounds). He is doing pretty good now after a round of panacur and antibiotics, but still has some lingering issues and is wobbly every once in a while. she is wondering about giving him a monthly maintenance dose of panacur in the form of the horse pellet Equibits. Do you have any thoughts on this? Many thanks!

AnswerHi, Erin
Not sure how effective this would be, since it takes several doses of almost any medication before you get therapeutic levels in the tissues. Just one dose probably won't do much.
If it were my bun, I'd rather do an occasional one month treatment if bun seems wobbly and *if* the Panacur seems to improve the situation. She might want to consult her vet about trying that, instead.
Hope this helps.
Dana
