how do you make your rabbit stop chewing on the carpet

Dear Kirsten,

First:  Is your bunny spayed/neutered?  An intact bunny will be much more likely to be destructive and hormonal.  So this is the first step.

Second:  Provide alternative toys, such as clean cardboard boxes with door holes cut in to provide a fun, chewable alternative to the carpet.  Place tough mats over the areas where she is digging and chewing the carpet, and place a litterbox filled with pelleted pine litter and clean, fresh timothy hay there to distract her.

All these measures will help keep her away from the carpet.
