QuestionHi , I heard that it's normal for bunny to sometimes eat his own poop , and this kind of poop looks different and is called Cecotropes... But , today , I noticed that my bunny ate his normal round poop. Is this normal behavior for a rabbit? Dose this mean that my bunny have some digestive problems?
AnswerDear Nikola,
A bunny sill sometimes eat normal poops in addition to the cecotropes, and no one really knows why. This is not usually something the bunny does all the time. Just once in a while.
It doesn't appear to signify any health problems, and it won't harm the bunny to do this. It's just a little odd. But I wouldn't worry about it.
If you are concerned about your bunny's health, please see this article:

for instructions on how to tell if your bunny is sick. You may also be able to find a rabbit vet via the international listings here:

Hope this helps!
