rabbits pulling out fur.

Question
Hi we have two rabbits that have lived together for 4 months without bother, was told they were a girl and boy, no mating or mounting each other or any fighting to note. the girl has today started pulling her fur out. it seems a lot. they live in a childs playhouse with a separate hutch inside. so plenty of room, they have toys and are allowed to roam free in the garden and are only locked in at night, due to our other two being taken by foxes:
i have a couple of questions:

is she doing because its warm ie moulting or could she be pregnant and doing it for nesting.

also they have been digging burrows, if she has babies down the burrow instead of in the house, would they be ok or should i try and get her in?

thanks susan

Answer
hi pulling fur out is a good sign babys are on the way and the doe must now be on her own in her own cage.
sometimes pulling fur out could be a phantom pregnancy ' this is where they do all the right things but nothing happens.
to be safe she must now be on her own as the other rabbit may kill any babys born.
