introducing a 2nd rabbit

i have a 10 month old netherland un-neutered female rabbit and worry she is lonely she is friendly and affectionate with us and the cat and dog if i was to get a 2nd rabbit can you tell me the best way to do it. many thanks.

hi kate -if you get another rabbit and put it with yours they will fight like mad as yours thinks its territory is being took over .its best to keep them seperated-just introduce them keeping a good watch over them as they may start tofight straight away.
dont worry about your rabbit being lonely , they actually like being on there own.
