rabbit fell and having breathing problems

My rabbit Buck is a cottontail yesterday he jumped off my husbands shoulder like he always does but he hit the chair on the side with his chest he is lathargic and is wheezing seems like he is having trouble breathing please need help don t want to lose him

Your little bun really needs urgent vet attention. He could well have some serious internal injuries as he's in pain if he's acting lethargic. The difficulty breathing could be rib damage, punctured lung. If he'll hold still concious, hopefully a vet can get an x-ray (usually they put the rabbit under general anaesthetic to x-ray but I wouldn't recommend that with lung damage!).
