Aggresive Pig

QUESTION: I have recently adopted a 2 year old male neutered pot belly pig. I admittedly do not know anything about them. I have a hobby farm and have had other animals so i thought why not. Now granted i have only had him here a couple of days but i am concerned because he charges me and tries to bite me everytime i enter his stall. when I agreed to adopt him i was assured he was very friendly and child friendly as well but he is obviously not a fan of me right now. What should i do??

Is it possible that the people you adopted him from were not totally truthful with you?
I have been been breeding for over 25 years now and have never had any of my pigs charge me!
This is a bad situation for both you and the pig.
I would surely give him more time to adjust to his new surroundings.  
How is he with others who try to enter his pen?  
Did you adopt from a private party or a sanctuary?

QUESTION: It was through a private party who i still have contact with. He seemed to be fine with her and me initially too. He has done this to my mother as well and no one else has really wanted to enter the stall since. I've been reading various things on the Internet regarding aggressive behavior and various sites have confirmed that pigs can be dominant and can exhibit a lot of the same behaviors as aggressive dogs. i just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing to try to correct it. with my dogs we have a very strict routine at feeding time, where it is clear that i own the food and no one gets dinner until they are exhibiting good behavior... is it the same with pigs??

It could be possible that he is cutting teeth.  This can  cause them pain and they can become aggressive for a short period of time.
