MY two pigs are SCARED!

Hello! i just got two male pygmy pot beliies yesterday and they are so skitish...i can not go near them or they will run away from me. They squeal so loud when you try and hold them....im not quite sure if i just need to give it more time, i just am afraid since the last owners didnt play with them at all, that they will not warm up to me. They dont want anything to do with me at all! please help..they are only 7 weeks old.

Hello, the best thing to do is approch during feeding time you cna offer greens/vegetables from hand when feeding as well...be very sitll and quite if they come to take something from you after a while they will be used to you more and you can talk to them and pet them without scaring them also potbellied pigs do Not like to be picked up they also are too heavy to pick up later on (40-70 pounds average thou sometimes bigger) picking them up frightens them so its best not to do that unless nessairy.
