Question
I recently rescued Sweet Pea a week ago. The first 2 nights I had her she poo'ed but has not in the past 7 days she does urinate regularly. I am bottle feeding her fresh cow's milk and her last feeding of the night I add rice cereal. I have read other posts where you suggest feeding pumpkin then take them for a ride in the car. I have done this 3 days in a row, however it has not worked. Any other suggestions and should I be worried about her not pooing?

Answer
Yes, after a week and three failed home-remedy attempts, it's time to worry and contact a veterinarian. Piggy may have an internal blockage from eating something she should not have. Cat litter is a common culprit. Piggy may need x-rays.

There's a list of vets that see pot-bellied pigs at www.farec.org. Also, most veterinary schools will treat pot-bellied pigs.
