Buying a pot belly pig

I live in Phoenix, Az and I wanted to buy a pot belly pig but I don't know where and if they are legal in Arizona.  Could you please help me out. Thank you...

For zoning information consult your local government. If your property belongs to a homeowners' association, be sure to check the restrictions thoroughly. Ask your local government for a printed copy of the zoning regulations, do not rely on spoken assurances - or spoken restrictions.

I don't know of any breeders in AZ, but the following organizations resource potbellied pigs. Often, pregnant pigs are rescued and the babies are available for adoption.
