Follow up on last nights question

Question
I spent 3plus hours reading your sight, and we will change our cleaning habits, already changed her water, will change her food, etc.

She has a little rid on her nose today, my question is will she improve without medicine. I am afraid to take her to a vet who might give her something that will make her worse, n
ot better.

Should I give her some baby ibuprofin as you suggest and wait?

This is a follow up from last night's question. I am a little afraid to take her to the vet (the clinic worker said they have seen 2 rats in 2 months). It's our vet for our dogs/cat for 5 years although I have mixed emotions about them.

she is sneezing more than normal before 1/20min now 1/5min and has had some yellow/pinkish clear and redish discharge. What should we lead the vet to doing if they don't know?

Answer
Let me find a vet for your rat.  DO NOT take her to a vet that is clueless. Your right to be worried, because these vets often cause more harm than good. Its a good idea she have her very own vet. I suggest baytril be given to her for a full 30 days, treating her for mycoplasmosis, as you probably are familiar with after reading my website.

I need to know your city and state and can give you names of vets that treat rats.
