Unknown issue with my precious rattie

Question
My rat is actting really strange. She's usually okay with
being held, she runs around normally. Up and down my arms
and sits on my shoulder sometimes.
Today she freaked out for some reason and ran at full speed
all around my shoulders my stomach and down my leg while I
was standing. Once on the floor, still running, she did
about 5 circles in the exact same spot. Then just stopped. I
put my hands out to get her and she barely moved and came to
me. Once in my hands again she was very still, Barely moving
at all. I pet her for a while then put her back in her cage.
Normally when she's put back she comes looking for food or
treats and sticks her head out again, this time she just
walked away and stayed in pretty much one little spot. She's
barely moved since then not even for treats when she's
normally always ready to eat.
She does have a cage mate, bought them both the same time
and they're around the same age (maybe about 8 weeks
old).I'm not sure what to do right now, I've looked up
everything possible that could make her like this and am
still confused. Any ideas? Maybe something just scared her
and she's traumatized? Also, what should I do if she
continues to act like this?

Answer
Something spooked her.  Once, my rats acted this way and I was so confused. FInally I realized I had a big orange sack on the shelf. It had never been in the room before, but it was something new to them and scared the heck out of them to the point they wouldnt come out of the cage and if I made them, they would freeze and finally take off and run back in the cage. THey were cautious for days afterwards, even after I figured out that they were scared of the orange sack.

I would give her a few days....let me know how she is in a few days, and meanwhile, take a look around the room for any changes, perhaps a noise outside the room spooked her.  Rats are funny that way. They are very untrusting little animals.
